The dogs are housed in very unhygienic condition without proper food and water for the last 5 days.
On the positive side the lower level officials are open to change.
Times of India reporter Senthil Kumaran and New Indian Express reporter Sabari, and our vet Joseph Rajesh with the help of People for Animals, vice president Amit Chaudhery and Gauri Maulekhi are going all out to help these dogs and to bring about a change
Update: 24 female dogs were released without informing the NGOs. The reason being the veterinary doctors Dr. Nallayan and Dr.Benjamin considerd the dogs to be too young, or pregnant or lactating mothers. Why were they kept in the facility without adequate food and no water for 5 days? There are still 12 to 14 dogs at the Animal Birth Control Centre.
